The ParkerFit Facility is a 23,000 sqft, state of the art, functional fitness center. Opened in 2021 to Parker University Students, Faculty, and Staff.
This class combines strength training, cardio, and gymnastics into a comprehensive functional fitness exercise program. All are welcome in this class as the coach can meet the level of fitness with anyone that wants to join.
This class is designed to promote alignment, strength, and flexibility in the body. Linking breath to movement, we will work off the stress of the day while also being intentional about creating intentional space for our mind to relax. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. This is an all-levels class with minimal need for modification.
This class focuses on building true strength through movements such as squats, deadlift, and pressing. Participants will learn how to correctly perform major lifts and also explore use of odd objects such as atlas stones, logs, sleds, and sandbags.
Classic weight lifting with a focus on increasing muscle mass. This class has a program centered around hypertrophy but also ensures functionality of the body for all levels of fitness enthusiasts.
Just what the name says, High Intensity Interval Training. This class focus on interval training that will get your heart rate racing. Not only does this class use traditional cardio equipment, but also incorporates free weights, battle ropes and so much more to keep the class exciting and engaging.
