Moving health education forward
How can we leave a legacy? It requires much more than a high-caliber classroom curriculum. More than rigorous standards. Even more than advocating our principles and building health care business leaders. At Parker University, health and wellness education is more than our trade. Our mission is to teach our students to drive wellness forward.
We rely on our deep tradition, but we also lead the way in innovation and research. We devote ourselves to service and integrate ourselves in the community, Dallas and beyond. We push boundaries. We achieve the best, then take it further. We elevate the entire health care field. Together, we are in the pursuit of higher health.

A passionate driving force
Dr. William Morgan doesn’t rest on his laurels. Since receiving his doctorate of chiropractic, our president has constantly been on the forefront of all things that elevate the reputation of health and wellness. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices and members of Congress have been under his care. He established the first chiropractic clinic at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and was the chiropractor to the U.S. Naval Academy football team. Dr. Morgan serves on an advisory board created to address injuries sustained by U.S. Armed Forces Personnel during active duty operations, and served with the Navy outright in a Special Warfare unit.
Dr. Morgan quickly brought his rich depth of experience to the students at Parker and works so that a diverse and established career like his own is available to all at Parker. His contagious passion for shaping the future of health care is a driving force at Parker and informs the legacy of the university and its students.
Parker students are ambitious, compassionate, energetic, and also prepared. Prepared for their career, and to become industry leaders. Prepared with precise techniques and knowledge only gained with real-world experience. They are prepared beyond the required, the expected, the ordinary. Our students aren’t just prepared-they are Parker Prepared.
Our founder, Dr. James Parker, believed in personal responsibility and self-actualization. He established a set of principles that continue to guide us today, on a campus steeped in tradition but encouraging innovation. The students of today are Parker Prepared to lead the way into tomorrow.
