The Master of Science in Clinical Research is an extensive program of study and research experience designed for researchers and health professionals that plan to oversee clinical trials as investigators, study coordinators, and site managers. The curriculum provides students with a comprehensive understanding of clinical research methodology, biostatistics, research ethics, and regulatory principles. The degree program will provide graduates with the necessary skills to conduct clinical research and prepare graduates for enrollment in a doctoral program.

Professional Outlook

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of clinical research in medical science is projected to grow 17 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations. That is a projection of more than 22,600 research-related jobs to be filled between 2020-2030. In 2020, the median annual salary for clinical researcher in medical sciences was $91,510.
