The mission of the Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems is to produce graduates with the technical and organizational skills that participate in the design, construction and maintenance of information systems on effective technological platforms to facilitate the effective storage, transfer, manipulation and use of data and are aligned with the needs of businesses, local and global communities.

The Associate of Science with a major in Computer Information Systems degree program was designed for students preparing to start a career or professionals seeking to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace. The program is offered online and includes courses in a variety of fundamental areas specific to Information Technology and Cybersecurity. The Associate Degree can be completed in as little as 5 semesters and gives students an introduction to Computer Information Systems as well as a foundation to later specialize in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Health Care
