Parker University is being recognized for offering a highly focused and relevant program in health information management that prepares students for changing healthcare industry dynamics.

The university is now part of an exclusive group of organizations that are authorized to offer HIMSS-approved education programs that prepare candidates for advanced knowledge in health information and technology or healthcare, as well as preparing candidates to sit for the CAHIMS or CPHIMS exam.

Parker University’s Health Information Management Program Director Dr. Joe Lintz says, “As an AEP, I am very delighted with the faculty and advisors we have put in place to ensure the program’s success.
