Parker University strives to honor individuals who are dedicated and committed to bettering the chiropractic profession. During Parker Seminars Las Vegas 2022 in February, Brandon Curry, the community outreach coordinator and CA at Advanced Spine and Sports Care in Chicago, Illinois, received the coveted award for CA of the Year!

After starting his career as a licensed massage therapist in November of 2016, Parker Seminars helped Mr. Curry see that he wanted to attend Parker University, starting this coming fall, to become a DC. As an athlete, Mr. Curry had been familiar with chiropractic, which helped draw him to the industry as a professional. One of his biggest career aspirations is to introduce chiropractic to underserved areas and communities, and he loves building rapport with patients regarding their unique healthcare journey.

“I am most proud of my persistence to learn, my loyalty, and my ability to communicate in my field,” Mr. Curry shares. “I believe my hard work, kindness, and genuine love for helping others become the best version of themselves contributed to me being nominated and winning the title of ‘CA of the Year.’”

Mr. Curry says being awarded on stage at Parker Seminars Las Vegas was a humbling experience. “After I received the award, I was approached by many people who shared their connection to my story. I want to continue to be that source of inspiration to kids growing up in underserved communities,” he says.

Congratulations, Mr. Curry! Parker University looks forward to being a part of your professional growth and education.
