During the recent Parker Seminars Las Vegas 2025 event, the largest chiropractic meeting in the world, BJ Keepers was honored in front of thousands of attendees with the “Patient of the Year” award!
In 1986, Mr. Keepers, now a retired Navy Seal captain, was doing a training rappel from a helicopter when he was knocked unconscious and fell. He experienced a grand mal seizure, concussion, suffered from broken bones, and more. Mr. Keepers was immediately sent to the emergency room, where Dr. William E. Morgan, now the president of Parker University and Parker Seminars, was part of the training group that was there for medical emergencies.
Fast forward several decades, and Mr. Keepers became a patient at Parker Performance Institute (PPI). After only a week spent at PPI, Mr. Keepers was already noticing improvement. After this experience, Mr. Keepers feels it is his job to be an example for others who have suffered from traumatic, life-altering injuries.
