Plan Your Move
8-10 Weeks Out
Set your budget, research neighborhoods, complete the Roommate and Housing Form, and schedule tours.
4-6 Weeks Out
Apply for housing, arrange for a co-signer if needed, and review lease terms, deposits, and fees.
Lease Basics to Review: Look for details about rent, fees, lease length, notice-to-vacate requirements, pet policies, and addenda.
2-3 Weeks Out
Set up utilities, renter’s insurance, and parking or transit arrangements. Confirm your move-in date and logistics.
