Parker University Announces the Completion of the Campaign to Secure the Second Force Sensing Table Technology (FSTT) Device for the College of Chiropractic.
The gift of Parker alumnus, Dr. Tony DeRamus puts the fundraising campaign for the second FSTT over the top.
DALLAS, September 18, 2017
Parker University president, Dr. William E. Morgan announced the completion of the Parker University campaign to bring the second, groundbreaking teaching device for chiropractic to the Dallas campus. Dr. Morgan noted that “the addition of the second FSTT will greatly enhance the teaching and learning experience of our chiropractic faculty and students in the acquisition of the adjusting skills that they will use every day in practice”. Dr. Ashley Cleveland, Vice President of the College of Chiropractic, said, “The addition of the second FSTT will enable more of our students to use this teaching tool that has become one of our most popular and highly utilized teaching resources.” Dr. DeRamus, ’99, said. “I believe so much in the university and the leadership that it is an honor to be able to donate anything I can of value. The students Parker produces are outstanding and represent our profession so well.”
The project to obtain the second FSTT was initiated by the Parker University.
Alumni Association Board of Directors. The committee charged with the fundraising was chaired by Dr. Jarrett Browning ’13. Dr. Browning said: “The Alumni Board identified the need for a second device and began the campaign with an initial gift from a member of the Board of Directors.” Dr. Amy Wood ’04, President of the Alumni Board, noted, “This campaign ignited the important role our alumni can play in the education of future colleagues. Dr. Jim Parker, our founder, would be truly proud to see this support from the alumni to bring his vision to fruition.”
