Dallas TX June 08, 2017 – Parker University recently teamed up with several universities around the globe alongside the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) to partake in the latest research program invented called the Chiropractic Academy for Research Leadership (CARL) program. The CARL program is designed to develop and train aspiring research students and allow them international networking opportunities to enhance their learning experiences and connect with research professionals.

Chiropractic research epitomizes Parker University’s mission to uncover advanced information to drive effective patient care and positive health outcomes both on campus and in the work environment. Thirteen research professionals were selected for the program with participating countries including Canada, Denmark, Australia, Europe, Sweden, Hong Kong, and the United States.

University of Southern Denmark (USD) professor and DC, Jan Hartvigsen, stated, “It is essential for the future development and growth of evidence-based chiropractic that we secure a strong rigorous research culture where there is support, international networking opportunities and leadership training for the next generation of researchers focused upon this area of health care.”

Mentors, career opportunities, and research specific training will be provided in areas like clinical research design, systematic reviews, health services research, and psychology by international experts and leaders in the field. With these efforts, Parker University can look forward to the improvement of research, the chiropractic profession, and healthcare worldwide.
