About Jenna

Jenna Romanelli is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. She is the Asst. Program Director for the Strength and Human Performance program at Parker University and the Internship Program Director for BS and MS in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. As a Registered Dietitian, licensed in both Florida and Texas, Jenna works with a variety of patient populations within her private practice, Nelli Nutrition, LLC. She uses an individualized approach through client-centered counseling, medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education to achieve optimal nutrition and improve quality of life. Jenna has a special interest in sports nutrition, injury rehabilitation, and athletic performance. She has experience working with elite athletes as both a dietitian and strength coach. Jenna earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University, where she played collegiate volleyball. She went on to pursue a career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, training college athletes at Valdosta State University, while completing a Master’s of Education in Health and Physical Education. Jenna continued her career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Furman University and University of Louisiana at Lafayette before returning to school to pursue a Master’s of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University and becoming a Registered Dietitian. Jenna is currently pursuing a PhD in Health and Human Performance at Concordia University Chicago.
