Alumni of the Year

Autumn McGinn-Gore, DC '03

Autumn Gore

Dr Autumn Gore has dedicated her life and practice towards honoring the innate capacity for a person to heal, grow, and thrive. Her practice, located near Deep Ellum and across the street from Baylor Downtown, has grown organically from 100% referrals. She serves primarily mothers and children educating them on the perfection within and how that can be expressed with chiropractic care. Most recently, Dr Autumn has networked with the physicians and medical teams at Baylor hospital. A vast majority of her new referrals are medical professionals themselves curious about what chiropractic care is and why their patients rave about Dr Autumn in the delivery room. Autumn educates her clients on the first visit that she is pro the appropriate usage of medical intervention when necessary, yet at conception we were designed to never require drugs or surgery to thrive.

Dr Autumn has been recognized by Dallas Child Magazine as a mom approved health provider.

Her greatest gift to the profession is providing a space for students every Wednesday night to understand the power of chiropractic and learn how to communicate the innate ability of the body to heal, grow, and thrive. Written by Dr Jarrett Browning '13

International Alumni of the Year
Boyce Kinnison, DC '01

Boyce Kinnison

Dr Boyce Kinnison was born and raised in Texas in a chiropractic family. His father, Dr Larry Kinnison, graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1969. His mom, Carrie, worked as his father’s CA for 41 years. Following in the footsteps of his father, he and his brother, David, both graduated from Parker in May 2001. Shortly after graduation, Dr Boyce moved to Amsterdam where he practiced for four years before moving to Barcelona in 2005. He opened a clinic in the heart of Barcelona where he began teaching the community that all people have a healing power within themselves. In 2006 he co-founded a group called “Making Vitalistic Chiropractic Mainstream” (MVCM) which saw a need to train more chiropractors to treat the citizens of Spain. The group formed Fundación Privada Quiropráctica (FPQ), a non-profit foundation which promotes the research, education, marketing of chiropractic, and activities aimed to improve the social recognition of chiropractic and increase scientific activity. Dr Boyce serves as the Secretary of the foundation.  The foundations greatest achievement thus far is the opening of Barcelona Chiropractic College which enrolled its first class in October 2009. Dr Boyce played a pivotal role in assisting the college raise the money needed to open its doors. He began promoting the college through his involvement with ChiroEurope seminars. Last November, ChiroEurope hosted the largest chiropractic seminar even in Europe with 730 attendees. Further diversifying, he became active in the Spanish chiropractic association as the Representative of Catalunya on the Board of Governors.

Young Alumni of the Year
Lezlie Maloy, DC '08

Lezlie Maloy

Dr. Lezlie Maloy is a woman with a clear vision of success.  Less than five years after graduating she has built one of Dallas’ most successful sports chiropractic clinics. Shortly after she graduated in 2008 she purchased a small, struggling clinic in north Dallas and quickly turned it around. She started with a solid marketing and advertising plan that focused two of her own passions, running and triathlons. Everything she did in and out of her clinic focused on these two areas and providing quality care. She joined sports medicine teams at three different Ironman triathlons in 2008, 2009 and 2010 before being named the lead ART (Active Release Technique) doctor for the inaugural Memorial Herman Ironman Texas in 2011 based in The Woodlands.  She has continued her work with Ironman Texas every year since and now also leads the Memorial Herman Ironman Texas 70.3 ART team. She has led the chiropractic/ART teams at all the Ironhead Race Production running and triathlon races locally the last five years – nearly 100 races –  and has functioned as the official Team Doctor for Team Ironhead. Due to her experience in soft tissue injuries and treatment, Dr. Maloy was selected to be an assistant instructor by Active Release Techniques, the only one in North Texas.  Her involvement on an international level and the experience of treating thousands of athletes allowed her to build a practice focusing on endurance athletes. Her clinic is staffed by a USA Triathlon Certified Coach, a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist, along with support staff. Her clinic, Spring Valley Spine and SportsCare, features some of the most advanced technology in cycling or running; like the Racermate Computrainer, which is considered one of the most important pieces of training equipment to cyclists. In 2010 she was featured on NBC and CBS for having the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill, one of the most state of the art rehabilitation and training treadmills in the world.
