Students accepted into this rotation will be working directly with Dr. Sarah Potthoff. Dr. Potthoff is a licensed doctor of chiropractic with a passion for providing chiropractic care within mainstream medical practices. Prior to joining CHI Health, Dr. Potthoff was in private practice in Des Moines, Iowa. She attained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa.
She completed her chiropractic internship at Walter Reed National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and also worked for World Spine Care at the Mahalapye District Hospital in Botswana, Africa.
Dr. Potthoff applies many clinical concepts from the Motion Palpation Institute, McKenzie Institute, and The Rehabilitation Prague School with emphasis on Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and Vojta concepts. She is certified in Kinesio Taping, Graston Technique, ICPA Webster Technique and Functional and Kinetic Treatment and Rehab.
